Every media device owner always tries to find ways to sync their files from the device with their PC. This is very important to make sure that the important or rare files remain in the PC even if something happens to the device. If you are a Galaxy Tab user then you must also make sure to sync the files from it with your PC. This is one of the best tablets available in the market these days and the Android OS makes it even better. I am sure that if you have this tab then you have lots of files, including media files, in it. Syncing those files with the PC is a very important task. The process is quite easy and so you must not delay with it.You will get KIES 2 when you buy the Galaxy Tab. This is a software program that you need to install in your PC. This software allows you to connect your tablet with the PC and then share or sync files with it. This software works for all Samsung smart devices that come with Android. The latest KIES 2 version is more advanced and has many great tools. Let me tell you how to complete the syncing task.
The procedure
- If you can’t find the CD with KIES 2, which you got from the Galaxy Tab box, then you must download it from Samsung’s website. Install it in your PC.
- Use the USB cable of the tablet and connect it with your PC. You will see that your tab will be recognized and ready to use instantly.
- Run KIES software in your PC. You will find connected devices sections on the left side of the KIES interface. The Galaxy Tab can be found under that.
- Select the tab model number and you will be taken to the options page. You will see 4 sections on that page which are Basic information, Sync, Import/Export and Backup & Restore.
- If you want to sync your files from Galaxy Tab then select the Sync option from that interface. Now you need to select options according to what you want to sync.
- If you are thinking of syncing the songs from your tab with your PC then select the Sync music option. You will then have to select songs or playlists to sync.
- Once you select the files from your Galaxy Tab, select the Sync button from the top right corner of the KIES.
- The music files will be synced with your PC. You can do exactly the same with other media files too.
Manual transfer
- If you want to manually transfer your media files from the tablet then you have to select the files from the Library section which you can find on the left side bar of the KIES window. If you want to transfer the image files then you need to select the files first and then select Transfer to Device button.
The transferring process from Galaxy Tab will be completed automatically then.
