This Volume in Notification is the handy small app in Android for the Honeycomb tablets specifically which allows you to control the volume of your device within its notification window. And though Honeycomb tablets do carry volume buttons hardware wherein you may adjust the volume levels of your device, accessing/using this may become a trouble mainly when it is mounted at a stand or slipped in the cover. This app does not only control your Android’s tablet’s volume but also its games, podcasts, videos and music too while they are being run along. This will certainly makes your viewing and listening to be great and wonderful.  When this is launched, the Volume in Notification will actively keep running until your device is rebooted. This application requires no root access but runs without any blemish on the Android 4.0 ICS also.

This Volume in Notification will add a volume icon separate in its volume control and notification bar when it is installed. The volume’s control window carries 3 buttons that allows you to decrease, increase and mute the media volume of your device. Touching the icon will reveal the application’s window without requiring you to bring the tablet into the notifications window. Nevertheless, it will be great to use this icon only when you like to mute the volume of the device, as this window withdraws every time you will tap any of the buttons.

The future release of the application must feature the volume slider instead, hopefully instead of /or addition to the current button of up and down.

The Volume in Notification is being run in the Android OS v3.0 and higher. This application was successfully tested in both the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and the Android 3.0 Honeycomb.
