If you own a Motorola Atrix 4G you need to have software upgrade on it. It is a very easy task and it can be finished easily in just 25 minutes or so.
But there are precedent requirements that must be done to ensure a great and successful upgrade. You need to be guided by these requirements:
- You have to fully charge your Motorola Atrix with Motoblur using an active SIM card.
- Your micro SD card must be installed in your phone with free space consisting of 200MB.
- Your phone must be on the latest Android 2.2 software. (Blur_Version.4.1.83.MB860.ATT.en.US)
- In order to ensure optimal performance level after the upgrade, the phone software must not undergo any modification in any way.
- Then download the file and save it into your computer as “Blur_Version 4.5.91.MB860ATT.en.US”.
- See to it that the file is saved on your computer or directly on the micro SD card.
NOTE: There are some Internet Browser (e.g. Safari and Chrome) can be configured to extract downloaded zip files automatically. Please make it sure that the file is not unzipped just after saving it. The upgrade is requiring the use of the file that is zipped.
