Improving voice quality of HTC Evo 3D Android phone [How to]

The HTC Evo 3D phone is one of the great quality smart phones that are available in the market. However, many users have complained that this phone has some problems with voice clarity. Some may think that this is a network problem but the truth is that this phone has some issues with voice clarity. It’s expected that the voice quality issue will be shorted out with the next update but till then everyone with this phone will have to face the issue of voice clarity. The problem is not something that the company is looking after right now even with so many complains. Let me assure you that you don’t need to wait for the next update of HTC Evo 3D phone because the voice quality can be improved by you if you follow some simple instructions.

Before you go for it, I must remind you that the procedures to improve the voice quality I am going to tell you the procedure for HTC Evo 3D phone only and trying it on some other phone will harm it. Make sure that you are using this phone only. There are many blogs and websites which have their own instructions and they may or may not work. I am only giving what has worked with my phone which is HTC Evo 3D phone so the instructions are specified. Another important thing is that you must follow the instructions very carefully and don’t take a wrong step. You have to be fully confident about pulling this of before proceeding. Now follow the instruction closely and move ahead with the procedure to improve the voice quality.

Before anything else, get the MSL code from your operator as it’s very important. I will tell you how to get that code first and then about fixing the voice quality problem.

Procedure to improve voice quality  

• Call your operator and ask for the MSL code. Write the code and keep it very carefully. You will need this code so don’t loose it anyway.
• Get your phone and type ##3282# in the keypad. Match the number well and dial it. Soon after you do that you will find a notification asking for you to choose an option. Choose the Edit Mode option from there.
• Once you choose the Edit Mode you will be asked for the MSL code. Put the number by dialing from the keypad. Make sure that you dial the number properly. Once you do that your HTC Evo 3D phone will be ready to work with for improving the voice quality.
• After entering the MSL code, you will have to choose the advanced option from the list. Turn on the option called EVRC-B. After that find Home Orig option and change its value to EVRC-B. This is the most important part of improving the voice quality of your HTC Evo 3D phone.
• After changing it, you have to save the changes by pressing the Menu button. Once the options are changed and saved, your HTC Evo 3D phone will no longer have any problem with voice quality.
