Firefox for Tablets with Themes, Awesomebar, Tabs on Honeycomb

There were days when sleek designs and astonishing user interface was the synonym for Apple devices. Well, that is the history because now we can have tablets (Android based) with Firefox browser that looks quite attractive. This would be the very first tablet browser interface developed and designed only for tablets. With this launch for tablets, Mozilla hopes to consolidate their position in the tablet market, which is currently too hot.

Mozilla is one of the most famous web browser and many people give it preference over Internet Explorer. It is based open source technology. Supports themes and provides a lot of customization options. Now, it’s time for Mozilla experience over Android based tablets.

Smartphones and tablets are quite different devices; the latter has bigger screen and the applications that were developed for Smartphones might not run properly over a tablet due to this reason. Most of the time those applications will run successfully over a tablet but with a decline in user experience.  In such scenarios, Spare Parts app for tablet might provide some help.

Firefox too gets a makeover for tablet PCs, which is running on Google, based Android Honeycomb operating system. Other tablets with lower configuration (Android Gingerbread tablets) might face some problem in using Spare Parts app. This application can be downloaded from Android Apps Labs. Mozilla team is working hard for a better browser for Honeycomb tablet.

Firefox Awesomebar utilizes the tabbed menu to allow quick access to Firefox bookmarks, history and sync with the desktop. The users will notice that the Awesomebar has been moved on to the left side to increases the size of Firefox display.

Tabs are now backAn important change in Firefox browser (mobile version) observed on Honeycomb tablets would be the existence of tabbed browsing and other cool elements. On a tablet with large display screen, tabs stay on the persistent left bar (in the landscape mode).

This means that you can use your left thumb for toggling tabs to experience easy navigation and quick browsing.
