Would you like to have an access into Google Wallet in your own Galaxy Nexus? Yes, you are just in luck. Those hard workers from the XDa have just released the file flashable for the rooted and running ClockworkMod devices Galaxy Nexus. You will find below the main list of proper instructions to be followed, but you must head over for the complete thread to get the support. Great luck with much fun!
Google Wallet was launched last September and thus allowing users of Nexus S 4G Sprint to pay in the chosen retail stores with the use of touching their phones in the payment terminal and not to swipe the credit card. It is because this Galaxy Nexus features similar wireless technology-named New Field Communication, or the NFC like the Nexus S, many users were just hoping that the Galaxy Nexus will support this service.
This Google Wallet mobile application allows your phone to be your wallet. This stores securely your credit cards as well as offers in your phone. If you check out at the stores that accept this Google Wallet, then you can pay and redeem offers made quickly by just touching your phone at the point of sale.
When you install the Google Wallet in a rooted Galaxy Nexus is considered violation of Google’s terms of good service that states that users must ‘strictly and properly prohibited from the use of the App of the Mobile Wallet in a mobile device or the Android OS that was customized or modified in any manner. So you are requested to do this on your own risk.
The instructions for installing the Google Wallet are not so difficult to follow when you have already the adb setup and will be working. And here is the small list of the proper instructions for you to follow accordingly. To access its files to have flashing just follow the appropriate link in to its thread and must download them.
- You must be in the Recovery ClockworkMod for these steps.
- Check if you have this adb to be executed on your own path.
- Then you run adb data/shell mount
- And then run this- adb pull /data/system/packages.xml packages.xml
- Then open these packages .xml (if this can be in a directory then you just need to run this adb in the editor.
- You must copy then paste its whole contents onto:http://guy.deserves.a.hug.at.lukegb….xml_fixer.html
- Then you need to click the button ‘Fix it’
- After that copy its packages.xmlfile and return it back into its original version (one wherein you been running adb)
- Then you need to run this- adb push packages .xml /data/system/packages.xml
