CarPad is basically a navigation tablet for cars/travelers. It operates over Google Android operating system (it comes with Android 2.2 Froyo platform but upgradable). MapMyIndia claims that they have done their best in providing services like navigation system that comes pre-loaded on CarPad with widespread and accurate mapping. Above 5 million places have been indexed covering 6 lac towns & villages and about 1200 cities with info related to available routes and stops. Moreover ,It also provides house-level detailed maps for more than 17 cities and has 3D landmarks and 3D view for all major cities like Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Pune, Chennai and Bhopal.

CarPadcomes with a powerful 800 MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 processor, which is good enough to run a wide array of operation on this smart tablet at an amazing speed.
