The one Concern which the users bring up every time they root their tablet is that whether the procedure will root the device simply or not ? And as far as I know almost all the procedures root your device, some may be tricky or some may be as simple as SuperOneClickRoot, the well known one click solution to root your device. So this question or concern has already been sort of a joke at this point. However those users who are still worried, XDA Member Condi has taken a prior root method for the Sony Tablet S and turned it into a simple to use Windows Script.

Condi has done some modifications to the prior root tool by djrbliss and fix ‘com.pwn.me’ error and or MTP enabling and disabling issues on the device. This fully automated script is completely compatible with 32-bit and 64-bit Windows and has been tested on Windows XP and Windows 7.

There can be nothing simple as this, so follow up the instruction if you want to root your Sony S Tablet. The only issue with it is whenever you will update a OTA firmware over it you will loose your root access, so follow the steps on your own risk, we will not be responsible for any Damage!

How to Root Sony S Tablet on Windows:-

1. Make sure that you have properly installed the MTP Drivers on your system.
2. Download the root package from the link given above and extract the folder.
3. Now make it sure that you have enabled USB Debugging mode on your Sony S Tablet by following Settings > Applications > Development.
4. At last when you have followed the above given steps, connect your device to your Windows PC via USB Cable and run the ‘run.bat’ to start the rooting process and you will seeing the superuser prompt in no time.
