How to Unlock/Relock bootloader and Root Sony Xperia S

Recently released a week before and a forum added a few days back, Sony Xperia S is the newest device to find a home on XDA developer forum. In just a couple of days after it released, developers at xda are ready to give you the information on how to unlock/relock and root your brand new Sony Xperia S.

XDA member DooMLoRD has come up with a comprehensive guide to deal with the bootloaders which is based on the previous guide by lollylost’s for Xperia Arc. The guide is a bit lengthy but described clearly with all necessary links provided. The guide is the official method by Sony itself, so we should show some thanks to them for the developer friendly attitude. At the second post, DooMLoRD has provided the guide on how to relock the bootloader using flash tool.

At the same time another xda member Bin4ry is making sure that you can root your Xperia S device by making available a pre-rooted system.img, to flash with fastboot. All you have to do is download the file from the below given xda developer original thread, Connect your device in fastboot mode (blue LED),Launch Command prompt and type:
