It was just a few days back when dev released the app but somehow the root exploit was not working after the update firmware 2.1 and so then the dev has updated the app has fix the issue now. The app is based on the busybox exploit found by developer rhcp0112345 and it is now directly available in the form of .apk file, so installation is a breeze.

Pre-requisites
- Backup your android device data in case anything goes awry. You can directly backup your data to cloud or you can use our guide on how to backup android data.
- Be sure that your Asus Transformer prime is running on Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich.
- Your device should have atleast 50% battery backup so this will not interrupt the rooting procedure.
- Enable USB debugging by going to Settings > Development Options > USB Debugging.
- Make sure that you have disabled the Security Suites, Firewall Tools along with the PC tools as this software’s can interrupt your rooting process.
How to Root Asus Transformer Prime with SparkyRoot App:-
- Download and install the SparkyRoot.apk directly to your Asus Transformer Prime Tablet with the use of a file explorer app.
- Launch SparkyRoot app and you will see the 4 options there.
